Media Release21-Jun-2001Three awards are up for grabs in this year’s NatWest Series: The Player of The NatWest Series, Catch of The NatWest Series and Fans’ Player of The NatWest Series, in addition to the presentation of the trophy to the winning side.The winning team will receive a cheque for £20,000 and each winning playerwill be presented with a specially commissioned black stump with an engravedsilver brace.The Player of The NatWest Series will be selected by a media panel toinclude representatives from each of the three competing nations, England,Australia and Pakistan. The winner will be presented with an engraved goldmedal and a cheque for £3,000.Sky Sports selected the following six outstanding catches in TheNatWest Series, and today awarded Catch of The NatWest Series to ShahidAfridi (Pakistan) v England at Lord’s on 12th June. Shahid will bepresented with his medal and cheque for £2,000 on Saturday at Lord’s.
