Bamford, who earned his solitary senior cap for England against Andorra in September 2021, is yet to start a Championship fixture or score a goal in the 2024-25 campaign. A tumble down the pecking order at Elland Road has led to questions being asked of his future.

According to , several teams are mulling over January moves for the 31-year-old frontman. Genoa, who have already snapped up enigmatic Italy international Mario Balotelli, are said to be in the market for more firepower.
