Chelsea players have been left confused by Mykhailo Mudryk's two-week absence from the club before his positive drugs test was announced.

Chelsea stars had been left asking "What's happened to Misha?" after the Ukrainian star was absent from the club's training ground for two weeks before his positive drugs test was announced, according to Mudryk's absence was said to be "at least partly" down to illness, with his last appearance for Chelsea coming at the end of November against Heidenheim in the Europa Conference League.

Mudryk is now facing more time out of action after being provisionally suspended following a positive drugs test. The forward cannot currently play or train with the Blues and is waiting for the results of a ‘B’ sample. Mudryk has spoken out about his shock at testing positive and has reportedly employed the same law firm that represented Paul Pogba in his appeal against a doping ban. Pogba has recently seen his four-year suspension reduced to 18 months on appeal.
